About the Tattoo

The heart is made of soil that nurtures lives to sprout and grow. Mine grows plants such as roses, sunflowers, ivies, bamboos, daisies, etc… I collect them as they ripen and bloom so I can make the most beautiful bouquet for you, my friend. So I can communicate my love and excitement to you. So I can tell you that meeting you was the most beautiful gift of my life. So I can show you that the world isn’t just full of suffering, pain, and desperation. So you can see that you are absolutely worthy to receive the gifts of life. So you can see that you are not alone and you can grant yourself the permission to step into your truest expressions of YOU which might seem absolutely insane to someone else.

As you receive this bouquet that I poured my soul to grow for you, I invite you to bring your inner child forward, telling her/him/them that magic is indeed real; I want you to show your inner child that your favourite “dove trick” can take place right here and right now. Do you see the flapping wings flickering the light coming inside of this bouquet? It’s real. It’s ALL real. Your imagination is the limit.

Would you join me in the light? The price of the ticket is your heart, your trust, and your willingness to receive. I will be here waiting, welcoming you anytime with my bouquet for you.

For anyone who happens to feel this very bouquet in their soul and would like this art tattooed on them, please email me at inquiries@inkedbychloe.com. For whoever claims this piece, they will also walk away with this original drawing.

Thank you and have a wonderful day!

Xi Chloe Hua

Born and raised in Northern China, I have developed my love for art since the age of 5 and have trained as an illustrator for more than a couple decades. I moved to Vancouver, Canada in 2012 to pursue my passion for drawing in the form of animation while attending Emily Carr University. During my undergraduate studies, I established a passion for the human body and its significance in expressing one's identity and spirit. After graduation, I decided to pursue this passion via temporary tattoos using henna paste and jagua gel. After pursuing temporary tattooing, I was offered an tattoo apprenticeship to pursue permanent tattooing as an art form. I have been tattooing since September 2019.
